As professional consultants, we understand the need for confidentiality and will not release your private details to any company without your prior approval. In addition, Proto Sell's client resumes do not contain any identifying information such as name, phone number or email address.

How would you compare ProtoSell to other recruiters in the market?
That's a very good question. Proto Sell is a relatively small but highly focused recruiting firm. So our knowledge of our industry is much higher than more general recruitment companies. We are also able to provide more personalized service based on your needs and career interests.

How much English is necessary to work in a foreign firm in Japan?
It depends on the company and role. Some positions require spoken English, and others only require the ability to read and write. Presently, we have open positions that suit various levels of English competency.

How much of an increase in salary can I hope to receive?
It depends on your skill, background and past salary history. Salaries may also vary within the same industry based on the particular company's business culture. We can help you set a target salary for your new job based on your background, the company you've applied to and current market conditions.

How long will it take to find new job and when can I start?
Depending on your experience and current demand the time may vary. But on average, it will take anywhere from 1-3 months to find a new opportunity. After you decide to join a new company, Japanese law requires that you give 2 weeks prior notice to your current employer. However, the standard period is within 1 month of accepting a new job offer.

Yes, almost all of our clients provide traditional Japanese benefits including health insurance and retirement allowance.
